He is sleek or short-haired. The forehead is wide and he has a good developing skull. The ears are fairly big and hanging. The back of the dog is higher than the front because he need to pulling the cart. His look point out intelligence, courage and will-power. The colour of the coat is by preference reddish, brown-brindle or black with a dark mask and a black nose. Behaviour / character It is a active dog who’s not nervous and easy inaccessible . He’s not aggressive. You can do a lot of sports with him. He’s a good watch-dog. Little history The mankind used the Belgian mastiff for pulling the cart or by the army for pulling the machines-gun. But the dog died out because he wasn’t necessary anymore, the delivery-van has taken over his job.
